Your Wi-Fi is about to get an update: Meet Li-Fi!

Rumour has it that Apple will equip the new iPhone with “Li-Fi” capabilities: While Wi-Fi uses radio waves, Li-Fi uses the much faster visible light waves. The new tech could also play an important role in the Internet of Things, as data can be transmitted at much higher levels and even more devices, e.g. autonomous cars, can be interconnected.
